Dear Visitor,

Ever since I can remember, I have been passionate about airplanes, animals, and forests. As I grew – a lot! – into a young adult, I regularly pondered what I wanted to be in life. I applied to be an airline pilot, but was rejected on account of being too tall; my passion for aviation never did leave me though.

​

It was my love for trees and for the natural environment that led me to read Geography & Sustainability at Cambridge University. Another passion then took off in me as I navigated my own unpredictable career path: one for talent development. That's why today I work as a Strategic Talent Consultant.

​

A love for creative writing has accompanied me throughout.

​

FLIGHT SCHOOL brings together these different passions in an allegorical story that reflects my own lived experience, as well as my ideas around what it means to lead a life that is purposeful and successful.

​

I like to think of my career as one big learning experience that continuously grows with each new project, each new challenge, each new opportunity... and each new failure - just like it does for our hero Alea.
